1.Opening Argument
a. Clearly present your team’s thought and opinion on this issue. Be sure
to mention your best points first, provides lot of factual details ,and don’t
speak in a monotony voice.
b. Make sure you listen to the opposing team during their opening argument.(You
will need to know this for the rebuttal)
2. Rebuttal
a. Offer evidence for why the opposing party is wrong. Attach the most
important parts of their argument. Attack the idea, not the person.
3. Conclusion
a. Summarize your argument.
b. End with an interesting concluding sentence.
4. Final Tips
a. Use up most (or all) of your time.
b. Look at the audience, not at your notes.
